Life moves in seasons.

 

Some seasons bring beginnings.

 

Others bring endings.

There Is a Time

 

Ecclesiastes does not tell us that every season will feel good.

 

There is a time to weep.

 

A time to mourn.

 

A time to search.

 

A time to give up.

 

A time to be silent.

 

And there are also seasons of laughter, healing, building, dancing, gathering, and speaking.

 

Biblical wisdom recognizes that life contains both.

 

Faith does not require us to call every season pleasant.

 

It teaches us to look for God within every season.

 

When a Season Ends

 

Endings can be difficult even when they are necessary.

 

We may grieve relationships, opportunities, roles, dreams, routines, or versions of life that once felt familiar.

 

Sometimes we continue holding onto something because releasing it feels like admitting it did not matter.

 

But something can have mattered deeply and still have reached its season of completion.

 

Letting go does not erase what God did there.

 

It simply makes room for what He may do next.

 

When God Says Wait

 

Waiting can feel unproductive.

 

We want movement.

 

Answers.

 

Clarity.

 

Evidence that something is happening.

 

But Scripture repeatedly shows God working in seasons that appear quiet.

 

Seeds develop beneath the soil before anything appears above ground.

 

In the same way, God can be doing important work that we cannot yet see.

 

A waiting season is not necessarily a wasted season.

 

Don't Compare Seasons

 

Comparison becomes especially dangerous when we compare our current season with someone else’s visible progress.

 

Someone else may be harvesting while you are planting.

 

Someone may be celebrating while you are rebuilding.

 

Someone may be moving quickly while God is teaching you to wait.

 

Different seasons do not indicate different levels of God’s favor.

 

You do not need someone else’s season.

 

You need faithfulness in yours.

 

A Time to Plant and a Time to Uproot

 

Wisdom requires knowing what the season requires.

 

Some seasons ask us to plant.

 

Others ask us to prune.

 

Some require persistence.

 

Others require release.

 

Some doors need to be pursued.

 

Others need to remain closed.

 

The question is not simply:

 

“What do I want?”

 

It becomes:

 

“God, what does faithfulness look like in this season?”

 

He Makes Everything Beautiful in Its Time

 

Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us:

 

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

 

Notice the phrase:

 

In its time.

 

We often want the beauty before the process is complete.

 

We want answers before waiting.

 

Harvest before planting.

 

Restoration without rebuilding.

 

But God sees more of the story than we do.

 

What feels unfinished to us may simply be unfinished.

 

God Is Present in Every Season

 

God is not only the God of harvest.

 

He is the God of planting.

 

Waiting.

 

Pruning.

 

Rebuilding.

 

Beginning.

 

Ending.

 

Grieving.

 

Healing.

 

And becoming.

 

Your current season may not be the one you would have chosen.

 

It may not look like the season you expected.

 

But it is still a place where God can meet you, teach you, shape you, and prepare you for what comes next.

 

The season will change.

 

God will not.
