Throughout Scripture, waiting repeatedly appears between promise and fulfillment.

That space can be uncomfortable.

But it is often where God does some of His deepest work.

Waiting exposes where we have placed our confidence.

It teaches us whether we trust God only when we understand His timeline or whether we trust His character when we cannot see what He is doing.

Sometimes God changes the circumstances.

Sometimes He changes us before He changes the circumstances.

And sometimes the strength we asked Him to give us arrives through the very season we wanted Him to remove.

Waiting does not mean God has forgotten you.

Silence does not mean He is absent.

Delay does not mean He has stopped working.

The same God who holds the promise also holds the timing.

And while you wait, He is still strengthening, preparing, shaping, and leading you.
