Positioned on Purpose reminds us that position and purpose are not the same thing.

Esther does not become queen simply so she can enjoy the palace.

Her position gives her access.

Her access gives her influence.

And eventually, her influence requires courage.

Mordecai’s words become the turning point:

“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Esther then faces a decision.

She can protect her comfort or embrace her calling.

She can remain silent or use the influence she has been given.

She chooses courage.

But before Esther approaches the king, she does something important—she calls for a fast.

Her courage is not reckless.

She prepares spiritually before acting publicly.

That distinction matters.

Purpose is not simply recognizing an opportunity. It is learning to discern when God is calling us to act and having the courage to respond faithfully.

Sometimes God positions us in places we never planned to be.

A workplace.

A relationship.

A ministry.

A community.

A season of waiting.

Even a difficult circumstance.

We may not immediately understand why we are there.

Esther reminds us that understanding often comes later.

You may not see everything God is doing in your current season.

But unseen does not mean inactive.

The God whose name seems hidden throughout Esther is the God whose providence holds the entire story together.

And He may be positioning you for a purpose that has not yet been revealed.
