When you feel unworthy, is God’s presence somewhere you can still approach? This teacher-led JOURNEY Method™ lesson explores that question through Luke 7:1–10, Genesis 3, and Hebrews 4:14–16. Study the centurion’s humility and trust in Jesus, consider how shame can lead people to hide, and learn why Hebrews invites believers to come to God for mercy and grace through Jesus, our great High Priest. This editable Word lesson includes a lesson overview, teaching tension and guardrails, contextual Bible teaching, guided reflection, group discussion, a closing prayer, and a seven-day reading plan.
