commands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYet God continued to call:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eReturn.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJoel 2:12 says:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e“Turn ye even to me with all your heart.”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat invitation reveals something important about the heart of God.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRepentance is not merely God pointing out how far we have fallen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is God calling us back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eThe Road of Repentance\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBiblical repentance includes several important movements:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRecognition\u003c\/strong\u003e — Seeing sin truthfully.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eConviction\u003c\/strong\u003e — Allowing God's Word to expose what needs to of biblical conviction is not hopelessness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is restoration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat About Repeated Failure?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes we return to God only to discover ourselves struggling with the same weakness again.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRepentance does not require pretending the struggle never existed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt means refusing to make peace with sin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe continue bringing it into the light.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eContinue surrendering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eContinue seeking accountability and wisdom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eContinue returning to God.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSpiritual growth is often a road walked through repeated obedience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eRepentance Produces Fruit\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJohn the Baptist called people to:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e“Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.” — Matthew 3:8\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRepentance should eventually hide.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGod calls us to come into the light.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShame says:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRun away.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGrace says:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eReturn.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe biblical road of repentance is not a journey toward earning God's love.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is responding to the God who calls sinners to turn, come home, and walk with Him
